Blooming in Unexpected Times
Today’s God moment (one of them) looking out and seeing that my dinner plate hibiscus plant has several big beautiful blooms!! Last year it didn’t bloom and the year prior a heavy rain storm knocked it down. I wasn’t sure it would make it but last year the stalk did grow up….and this year lovely blooms. I noticed the blooms naturally but what struck me the most is that despite the rather large and invasive brush that has sprouted up and is trying to choke out the flowers it has still managed to bloom. What a lovely message from God that life may knock us down, it may seem like though our efforts to right ourselves aren’t producing the way we want, that
when something tries to overshadow us God will always turn mourning to dancing, sorrow to joy and despair to delight!
