In the Darkness

There are times when we find ourselves overrun with darkness. Times when circumstances seem insurmountable and you can feel despair trying to anchor you in the darkness. The enemy would have you believe that you are lost and alone and that the darkness is your prison. This however is not true! No matter what you are facing, no matter what false narrative satan tries to surround you with there is hope.

“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.””

“(for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.”

“for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’”

Satan would lie and say you are alone but God says He will never leave us. If you are facing challenging circumstances and you feel like God is absent turn to the Word and see the truth. He is with us always even until the end of the age. So rebuke the lie of your circumstances and the emotions the enemy tries to use to trip us up. Lift up your eyes and see the great big God who is always shining into the darkness to show you the way out!
