Take Time to Float

Another pool workout done and in the books. It was such a nice day. Of course I always enjoy the company! Tamara Todink But today it was also peaceful. For most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and it just felt good to be able to move through the water. We always try to take a couple minutes at the end of our workout for what I jokingly call “Otter Time” as we simply lay back and float in the pool. There is something wonderful about tuning out the rest of the world and just floating. Stopping all the noise and just breathing. As humans we should do more of this not less.
If you find yourself racing around your day find a way to just stop, breathe and dwell in His presence. Even if only for a couple minutes. You will find it resets your day in a powerful way when we stop, and look on Him!
Psalm 121 1-2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.”
